agency is celebrating its 54th year of existence this year.
Ramon "Chito" Montalvo founded the Agency in 1953 in La Villa,
TX. After a few years, business developed to a point where he
decided to move to Weslaco. After almost 30 years of partnership
with a variety of agents, Mr. Montalvo decided to bring in his
son, Ramon (Monse) Montalvo into the business. Ramon joined
the Agency in May 1978 right after he graduated from college.
Today, the agency is run by Monse and has grown to be one of
the largest insurance agencies in the MidValley. |
